FOR WORK CLOTHES
An economy in which no resources are wasted and no waste is generated. A circular economy. In which products are designed in such a way that raw materials or components remain available for the next phase of use, without harmful effects to people and the environment. In which VALUE AND QUALITY are preserved.
JUST DO IT! THAT IS OUR CREDO.
COFA realizes the circular economy in practice. DISCOVER, DEVELOP, DEPLOY.
NEW RAW MATERIALS / PRODUCTS
This is also how we work with clothing, safety shoes and other personal protective equipment. We collect, sort, dismantle and make new raw materials and / or products as much as possible. For circular products for 100%, for non-circular products for more than 80%. After all, EVERY STEP BETTER THAN WASTE OR DISPOSAL IS A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
DISTANCE TO THE LABOR MARKET
Cofa focuses on the regional deployment of people with a distance to the labor market and / or a employment disability.. With this we offer you the possibility to fulfill your objectives within the framework of the Participation Act.
How does everything work? COFA places a collection tool, such as our cage or duffle bag. If it is full, report this via our tool C_reverse. We will then ensure that the products are collected.
REFURBISHMENT AND RECYCLING
Your used workwear, safety shoes and personal protection equipmentcontain valuable raw materials that can be reused. As soon as the products arrive, they are included in Cirmar’s MATERIAL BANK.They are then hygienized, sorted and assessed on the basis of their composition and quality.
AS A COMPONENT OR A RAW MATERIAL
COFA chooses how materials will be reused after dismantling: as COMPONENT or as RAW MATERIAL, always for new products (in practice, a very small fraction is used as a secondary fuel).
COFA does not dispose of materials as waste, unless this is necessary because dangers of pollution.
Products such as bags are made from work clothing, but the fabric is also shredded to partly make new yarn and fabric. The leather of work shoes has a new application in, among others, automotive. If desired, even customized products can be created specifically for your company!
Because many of our clients’ products have a logo attached, these are all treated as confidential material, so that no logos reappears on the market.
The Dutch government and the business community have agreed to step-by-step explicitly make more work possible for people with a work disability: 100,000 in business, 25,000 in government. Cofa makes this possible by employing people with an occupational disability in the circular economy and works together with so-called SW companies and
daytime spending projects. The hours spent on the products you offer are periodically reported. With this, Cofa offers you an opportunity to give substance to the Participation Act, where this may not be possible in your primary process (for example for safety reasons). AT THE SAME TIME WE TAKE A STEP TOGETHER IN THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY!
